Gina Matter, RPh, MBA

Senior Director, Clinical Pharmacy Services | Magellan Rx Management

Gina Matter joined Magellan Rx in 2015. She is currently a Senior Director for Clinical Pharmacy Services responsible for driving clinical initiatives and strategy in the commercial segment, with heavy focus on our employer business. She manages the health (clinical and financial) of key clients in conjunction with the account team as well. She also leads strategic corporate initiatives and projects as assigned.

Gina has been in the Pharmacy Benefits Management industry for more than 20 years beginning with Walgreens Health Initiatives. She has a great deal of experience with analysis of prospect data for sales including responsibility for clinical request for proposal responses and presentations at finalist meetings. She has facilitated development of key reports used for sales and account management and internal team member training and mentoring. Additionally, she is licensed with state departments of insurance to deliver health underwriter approved continuing education programs.

Gina earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University, School of Pharmacy. She also earned a Fellowship in Pharmacy from the Wharton School of Business. Gina has also recently obtained a Master in Business Administration degree from Charter University.
