Addressing the Issues and Factors Affecting Executive Compensation

A dynamic, ever-changing landscape coupled with modern-day business pressures are requiring executive compensation professionals to go beyond keeping their technical skills up to date. Practitioners in the field must also ensure they know the art behind effective executive pay plan design, from understanding how to navigate the nuances of design to working effectively with compensation committees and leadership.

Senior-level professionals will gather in July at the WorldatWork 2019 Executive Compensation Forum to engage in strategic-level discussions around the nuances and influences affecting executive compensation. Today, we’re beginning our search for the best and brightest executive compensation thought leaders to lead the conversations.

Who We’re Looking For

Attendees come to this annual event to take a deep dive into the strategic side of executive compensation. In kind, we’re looking for senior-level professionals who go beyond the day-to-day tactics of the field to explore the external factors, challenges and business situations that influence the design and delivery of effective executive pay.

Successful calls for proposal will come from speakers who:

  • Reflect a deep understanding of the factors affecting executive compensation, including legal and regulatory influences
  • Engage attendees in highly interactive conversations
  • Leverage their professional and personal experiences to educate and interact with attendees
  • Understand and relate to the challenges that executive compensation professionals face every day
  • Share insights into how today’s changing landscape will affect the future of the profession.

What You Need to Submit

  • Session title: Keep it short, sweet and interesting.
  • Proposal descriptions:
    • Full description (650 words, max): Thoroughly discuss what your proposed session will cover and what attendees will learn, all within 650 words. Use the description to generate interest, focus on what’s relevant to the event, and be clear and concise. This is the basis for the session description developed by WorldatWork.
  • Learning points (150 words, max): Clearly state three learning points/valuable takeaways for attendees.
  • Speaker details: Name, title, company, email, phone number, job type (practitioner, academic consultant, service provider).
  • Speaker biography (50 words, max).
