Cheryl Nienhuis | Director of the Mayo Clinic Complex Care Program
Cheryl Nienhuis joined Mayo Clinic in 2007 with a vision to meet the needs of Mayo Clinic employees so they can focus on the needs of the patient. Her role as a benefits leader expanded beyond Mayo employees to work with employers to provide high-quality health care while managing their costs. Before joining the Mayo Complex Care Program team, Cheryl led a team of talented individuals who provided strategic marketing, communications and content management support in an effort to meet HR’s business objectives and increase the overall value and presence HR brings to Mayo Clinic and those they serve.
Cheryl holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Health Care Management from Dallas Baptist University. She also maintains her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certifications to stay current on HR trends.
