Author Submission Guidelines

Whether you’re writing for one of our digital or print publications or for our books, WorldatWork looks for authors who write relevant, inspiring and thought-provoking manuscripts. Authors must have extensive knowledge in their topic area and, preferably, some writing experience. They also must be able to communicate well and accept constructive feedback. WorldatWork offers multiple outlets for authors who want to write.

Workspan Magazine

Our award-winning membership magazine is produced four times per year and provides our members with relevant, timely and practical content in a high-quality format.

Articles published in Workspan must be original and exclusive to WorldatWork, and authors are required to sign a standard author agreement.

Manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process, with evaluations based on the value of the topic, timeliness, soundness of content, readability and interest to WorldatWork readers. All accepted manuscripts are subject to staff editing for style, clarity and length. Authors will have the opportunity to review their edited article prior to publication.

The Journal of Total Rewards

Published in digital format quarterly. The Journal of Total Rewards (JTR) is focused on higher-level practical and scholarly writings that advance the profession. Our readers strive to enhance their knowledge base and understanding of complex and challenging issues facing the profession both today and in the future.

JTR is a scholarly/refereed journal for which manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process. Articles must be original and exclusive to WorldatWork, and authors are required to sign a standard author agreement, which includes assigning copyright to WorldatWork. All accepted manuscripts are subject to staff editing for style, clarity and length. Authors will have the opportunity to review their edited article prior to publication.

#evolve

#evolve is a new digital quarterly publication that focuses on leadership, workplace culture, employee experience, and strategic HR/business topics outside the core elements of the WorldatWork Total Rewards Model (compensation, well-being, benefits, development and recognition).

Articles published in #evolve must be original and exclusive to WorldatWork, and authors are required to sign a standard author agreement.
