Dawn Kalamaras
Vice President, Global Benefits and Well-Being at Wolters Kluwer

Dawn Kalamaras is Vice President – Global Benefits & Well-being at Wolters Kluwer and is responsible for the strategy, design, compliance and financial impact of the company’s global benefits and well-being programs. With a passion for creating rewards programs that meet the diverse needs of employees and their families, Dawn has experience in Benefits, Compensation, HR Policy and Finance.

Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, Dawn held leadership roles in Benefits and Rewards at large global companies across industries, including Pharmaceutical & Biotech (Roche/Genentech), Banking & Financial Services (HSBC), Advertising (Publicis Group); she began her career in Finance at Unilever.

Dawn serves on the Policy Board of Directors of the American Benefits Council and on various committees including the Global Benefits Committee & and the Health and Welfare Task Force.

She is on the faculty of WorldatWork and is a Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). Dawn holds a degree in Economics from Northwestern University.

Richard Polak
Global Consultant

Richard Polak has four decades of experience across five continents. He has helped companies in more than 90 countries create world-class HR and benefits programs.

Richard is known as a leader in crafting compassionate strategies to increase employee productivity. He specializes in HR forensics, global benefits consulting, and workplace productivity.

He serves as a global advisor for Silicon Valley Employers Forum and the American Benefits Council, sits on the Forbes HR Council, and hosts the insightful “Productivity Pod” podcast. Richard’s literary contributions include his bestselling book “Work Smart Now” and seven acclaimed plays. He also finds time for a nap every day.

Javier De La Serna
Senior Vice President, Global Benefits at AON

Javier de la Serna is a seasoned Senior Vice President at Aon's Global Benefit practice, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. He holds the dual roles of Regional Leader for the Central Region and a vital member of the North America M&A team. Javier's expertise lies in advising multinational corporations on optimizing their non-US retirement and benefit plans. With over two decades of experience, he has become a trusted advisor, guiding organizations through complex global benefits issues, including strategic planning, governance frameworks, risk financing strategies, and cost analysis, particularly during mergers and acquisitions.

Having started his career with Aon in Madrid, Spain, in 2000, Javier's journey reflects a rich background in benefit consultancy. His prior experiences at Buck Consultants and a local accounting firm honed his skills, leading him to become the Head of the Global Benefit Practice business in Spain. In December 2013, Javier's career took an international turn as he relocated to Chicago. His portfolio boasts an impressive array of clients, including industry giants like IBM, 3M, Parker Hannifin, and Brown-Forman, among others. Through his dedication and expertise, Javier continues to make significant contributions to Aon's global benefit consultancy landscape.

Anthony (TC) Williams
Assistant Vice President of Aon’s Globally Mobile Employee Centre of Excellence

T.C. Williams is an Assistant Vice President in Aon’s Global Benefits practice and is a part of the Globally Mobile Employee Center of Excellence (GME COE) – Americas. T.C. is based in Aon's Cleveland, OH office. T.C. has over 18 years of experience in the Employee Benefits space, 13 of which have been focused within Global Benefits.

T.C. is responsible for expanding client partnerships in the GME COE and helping clients develop, implement, and manage globally mobile employee benefits, travel and assistance solutions. T.C. works closely with Aon’s Regional GME COE offices in Europe, Middle East, and Asia to ensure global alignment and consistency for all Aon GME COE clients.

T.C’s areas of expertise include Expatriate Benefits, Global Travel Risk Management solutions and integrated Duty of Care protocols for multinational corporations (i.e. Medical / Security Assistance, Crisis Management and Security Operations).  T.C. also has experience providing Global Benefits Management support to multinational corporations and their local national employees. T.C. loves promoting multidisciplinary collaboration within organizations and aligning the efforts of key stakeholders who support global and mobile employees: C-suite, HR / Benefits Leadership, Global Mobility, Security / Risk Management, Corporate Travel, Legal, Finance and others.

Prior to joining Aon, T.C. was a Multinational Benefits lead with a Chicago Area global consulting firm and he has also spent time with two of the largest global Insurers and Assistance companies.  T.C. has earned a Certificate in Global Benefits Management through the International Federation of Employee Benefits Plans (2012), has been a presenter at Global Benefits Conferences and has conducted over 500 hours of Continuing Education instruction on global benefits topics to insurance intermediaries and Human Resources professionals across the U.S.
