Jeff Barbieri
Director, ESG at Aon

Jeff is a Director on Aon’s ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) Advisory Team. He is responsible for helping companies identify, understand, analyze, and address ESG risks and opportunities within their businesses.

Prior to joining Aon in October 2022, Jeff spent 11 years as a Vice President and ESG Analyst at Wellington Management, where he worked closely with the firm’s portfolio teams to integrate ESG research, voting, and engagement into their investment processes.

Earlier in his career, Jeff worked at BNY Mellon (2007 – 2009) and First Investors (2004 – 2007).

Jeff earned his MBA from Yale University (2011) and his BA in economics from Middlebury College (2003).

Eileen Leeman
Associate at Cooley

Eileen advises public, private and nonprofit clients on pay equity, pay transparency and salary history compliance, and clients trust Eileen to help them navigate compliance in these areas. She frequently conducts pay equity audits and advises on public disclosure of the results, board and union reporting, and best practices for incorporating pay equity into diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and environmental, social and governance (ESG) programs.

Eileen also assists clients with transactional employment matters, including advising on employment issues in buy-side and sell-side mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, spinoffs, asset purchases, venture capital financings, and initial public offerings. Eileen advises on a wide array of corporate transaction agreements, as well as related employment, restrictive covenant and severance agreements. She has a deep understanding of the media, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, food service, virtual reality, fintech and consumer goods industries.
