Steve Harris is a Managing Director of Frederic W. Cook & Co., Inc., serves on the firm's Board of Directors and leads the Atlanta office. He has consulted on executive and employee compensation for more than 20 years.

Steve serves as the independent compensation advisor to the boards of leading companies such as Johnson & Johnson, DuPont, Delta Air Lines, UPS, Bank of America, US Bancorp, General Mills and Hanesbrands. He joined Frederic W. Cook & Company in early 2007 to establish the firm’s Atlanta operation. Prior to joining Cook & Co., Steve was a Worldwide Partner with Mercer where he consulted for 19 years.

Steve serves on Executive Rewards Advisory Board for WorldatWork and is a member of their faculty. He has been a frequent speaker at national conferences of WorldatWork and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP).

He is a contributing author for two books on executive pay and has written articles for professional journals. Steve has been quoted in various business publications including The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and the Financial Times.

Steve has a Master's in Business Administration from the Kelly School at Indiana University and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology. In addition, he holds the WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional® (CCP®) designation.
