WorldatWork Scholarship Application

The following terms and conditions apply to any applications submitted by individuals for a WorldatWork Foundation scholarship grant. 

• Prior to submitting an application, applicants must acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions for their application to be considered. 
• Submission of an application is regarded as an affirmation of an applicant’s acceptance of these terms and conditions.

WorldatWork is committed to data privacy and protecting your personal information. Information on how WorldatWork collects, processes and uses your data is included in the WorldatWork Privacy Policy which is hereby incorporated into these terms and conditions. 

• Applications are open to any individual working in the Human Resources or Total Rewards profession. 
• Applications are reviewed and scored by WorldatWork Foundation volunteers and staff. All decisions are final.
• Each award is a one-time grant; however, prior applicants and past grant recipients are eligible to re-apply for new grants. 
• Receipt of a scholarship grant is not a guarantee of receiving any future grant.

WorldatWork/WorldatWork Foundation (and any other WorldatWork corporate affiliates) employees and board members and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply for WorldatWork Foundation grants. 

• Applications must be submitted by December 1st of each calendar year. Awardees will be selected and informed of the scholarship grant awards by March 31st of the subsequent calendar year. Grants must be redeemed by December 31st of such subsequent year. 
• If you are selected to receive a WorldatWork Foundation Certification, Education Course or Conference grant, you will receive further instructions on how to access the product or service award you were granted.

• The grants are to be redeemed by the applicable deadline for current program offerings. If you do not redeem your grant award by the applicable deadline, you will forfeit your grant award and will have to re-apply for a new grant, with no guarantee of receiving a new award.  

Please note WorldatWork Foundation does not reimburse awardees for certification exam retake fees, transfer fees or any associated expenses.  

• By participating in the WorldatWork Foundation scholarship grant program, WorldatWork, WorldatWork Foundation and its corporate affiliates may use your name, application information and/or photo for marketing, promotional, publicity or sponsorship purposes without further compensation to you.  
• Upon completion of the course, conference attendance or other grant award, WorldatWork Foundation may ask you to provide feedback regarding your experience or to provide a written testimonial. You agree to promptly provide such feedback upon request without further compensation to you.
• If you prefer, you may choose to opt out of WorldatWork Foundation's use of your name and personal information you provided on the application by contacting foundation@worldatwork.org, although we'd greatly appreciate including you in our story.
• You understand that WorldatWork and its corporate affiliates are under no obligation to use your name and/or photo.
