Understanding the Total Rewards Regulatory Landscape
Pilot Course: August 13-15, 2024 (Virtual Classroom) — SOLD OUT

Navigate the complex landscape of workplace regulations.

It’s easy to be overwhelmed by constantly evolving international laws and regulations and the challenges of staying fully updated and in compliance when operating across multiple countries. Getting it wrong means costly mistakes and legal complications.

In this course, you’ll learn a framework to assess compensation-related regulatory issues and navigate them confidently in any environment — whether in a single country or multinational setting. You will gain a deeper understanding of complex labor laws and the skills to navigate them seamlessly, mitigate risk, avoid expensive legal problems, and ensure international compliance.

After completing this course, you will understand:

  • The impact of labor regulations on compensation programs.
  • How to navigate global labor standards.
  • Strategies for minimizing employee compensation disputes.
  • Non-discrimination regulations promoting fairness and equal pay in the workplace.
  • How to establish complaint employment practices related to health/safety, required work hours, time away, terminations/separations and more.

To complete the course, learners will need a working knowledge of the WorldatWork Total Rewards model and compensation fundamentals of a Total Rewards strategy.

Learners should plan to spend 7.5 hours in class and 7.5 hours on self-guided work. You must successfully pass the required certification exam accompanying this course to progress toward acquiring the CCP or GRP certification. A practice exam is provided within the course materials to test your readiness and help identify knowledge gaps where you might need additional study. This is the course equivalent of Regulatory Environments for Compensation Professionals (C1).

Who Will Benefit?

This course is ideal for professionals pursuing their CCP and/or GRP designation. In addition, it is perfect for entry- to mid-level HR and compensation professionals interested in compensation programs and best practices.
