This course focuses on using Excel as a tool for compensation management. It covers everything from gathering, collecting, and analyzing data to making sound compensation and rewards decisions. You’ll master how to use data analysis to craft a compelling narrative that you can share with others in your organization.

Following this course, you will understand:

• How to apply key concepts, including salary ranges/percentages, compa-ratios, and time value of money and market index.
• How to hone decision-making with statistical tools such as variability, shapes of distributions, and regression analysis.
• Key data principles, including populations, samples, and frequency distribution.
• Tips for identifying distorted data and recognizing the common mistakes that cause it.
• Techniques for sharing data, including the best ways to organize and display it.

To successfully complete this course learners will need to have a working knowledge of material covered in prior CCP & GRP courses, including the WorldatWork Total Rewards model, base pay systems, variable pay programs and market pricing. 

Learners should plan to spend 9 hours in class and 11 hours on self-guided work. You must pass the required certification exam accompanying this course to acquire your certification. A practice exam is provided within the course materials to test your readiness and help identify knowledge gaps where you might need additional study. This is the equivalent course of Quantitative Principles in Compensation Management (C3E).
