The UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) recently signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with WorldatWork, the leading Total Rewards association headquartered in Scottsdale AZ, USA, and represented in the UAE by Talent at Work. The MoU aims to support the development of the UAE federal government workforce’s capabilities with the required behavioral, technical, and professional skills.

The signing of this MoU took place at FAHR’s offices in Dubai between Her Excellency Laila Obeid Al Suwaidi, the Federal Authority’s Acting General Director, and Mr. Mihai Popoaca President of WorldatWork. This MoU is set to benefit FAHR with services provided by WorldatWork geared towards nurturing the capabilities of ministries and federal authorities and developing their staff’s skills through the provision of research, policies, training and development activities, knowledge sharing, and expertise related to human capital growth.

In this context, H.E. She further commented that the agreement mainly revolves around developing an English & Arabic Glossary of terms and definitions related to Human Capital Management, which is already being carried out by Talent at Work.
