DEI Initiatives Are Part of Well-Being Strategies

WorldatWork research finds that a majority of companies are viewing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts as a vital part of their organization’s approach to well-being.

In its recent study on workplace well-being trends, 68% of 477 respondents said that DEI initiatives are included as part of their company’s well-being strategy. Another 64% noted that their organization offers or is considering offering DEI programs or training under their employee well-being program’s umbrella.

In addition, 73% of study participants indicated that their employer often or always ensures that the organization is committed to DEI initiatives as part of the company’s focus on building or sustaining a positive work culture.

And, when asked to describe their level of agreement with a number of statements, 81% of respondents said they feel they are accepted by their employer, with 73% saying they feel valued by their organization. Another 72% indicated that they feel included by their employer, with 70% reporting that they feel they are treated equitably by their employer, and 59% saying they feel the company’s DEI initiatives improve their work experience.
