
Alison Shelton conducts research on access to and participation in retirement savings plans such as 401(k)s and auto-IRAs as part of Pew’s retirement savings team.
Before joining Pew, Shelton worked at AARP’s Public Policy Institute where she served as an expert resource on Social Security and disability policy. Shelton also spent time at the Congressional Research Service and at the U.S. Treasury Department.
Shelton holds a master’s degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
