
Amanda Garcia brings more than 15 years of HR and compensation experience to her role at Southwest Research Institute, a nonprofit applied R&D organization serving government and industry clients. She manages the Institute’s salary administration program and has led initiatives in market pricing, base pay structures, and career ladder development.
Amanda developed predictive pay modeling techniques to ensure pay equity and reduce salary compression across the organization. She also leads HR analytics efforts that support recruitment, hiring, and employee retention strategies, helping to align workforce data with broader organizational goals.

Amanda earned a BBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management from St. Mary’s University and an MBA from Texas A&M University–San Antonio.
