
Brian Murray is associate professor of management in the Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business at the University of Dallas. He was formerly the university’s vice president and CFO and was board president for CARES, a multiple employer self-funded health care benefits association. His research includes studies of employee attitudes, retirement savings behavior, skill-based pay, leadership and performance management and work implications for employees who are family caregivers for individuals with special needs. His work has been published in journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Personnel Psychology, The Leadership Quarterly and Human Resource Management Review. He earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University.
