
Bryan Ortwein is a Director in the Milwaukee office of Willis Towers Watson, acting as strategic advisor to management teams and compensation committees on executive Total Rewards and human capital matters across a range of industries. His client portfolio includes both public and privately held companies, with particular depth in manufacturing and U.S. subsidiaries of non-U.S.-owned firms.
Bryan joined the WorldatWork faculty member in 2014 and shared his experiences and knowledge from more than two decades advising on annual and long-term incentive plans, executive contracts, change-in-control agreements, perquisites, benefits, and director pay. He is frequently engaged in ongoing advisory relationships with senior leadership and boards.
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, Bryan was a defined benefit consultant at another major HR consulting firm. He has also designed and modeled pre-IPO compensation programs, including cost analysis and communication strategies.
He earned a BBA, summa cum laude, from St. Norbert College and a Master of Management in Finance and International Business from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
