Clyde J. Robins has almost 40 years of experience in the design, administration, compliance, and integration of both qualified and non-qualified compensation and benefits plans. He currently leads CompBenTax, a consulting firm specializing in compensation, benefits, and tax strategy.

A WorldatWork faculty member since 1991, he has held a range of leadership roles advising organizations on compensation and benefit issues across sectors. He is formerly Vice President of Human Resources at Nutraceutical International Corporation and Managing Director of Human Resources at Brigham Young University’s Hawaii campus.

Clyde teaches courses internationally in accounting, finance, compensation, and employee benefits and is a WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®), and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP®). He contributed to the creation of WorldatWork’s Accounting and Finance for the Human Resources Professional course and has served on both the Benefits National Advisory Board and the Credential and Certification Advisory Board.

He also sits on the board of the Intermountain Compensation and Benefits Association (ICBA) and the HR Advisory Board for the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from Brigham Young University’s College of Business Management and is a Certified Public Accountant.
