David Johnston leads Johnston Human Resources Consulting, an Atlanta-based firm specializing in the communication and implementation of human resources programs. A WorldatWork faculty member since 2007, he has more than 35 years of HR consulting experience in the U.S. and Europe.
Earlier in his career, David led the Watson Wyatt’s Human Capital Communication practices in both the southeastern United States and western Europe. He later held leadership roles at Towers Perrin and Aon Consulting. He is a former journalist and radio news reporter, an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).
A graduate of Iowa State University, Dave holds a BS in Journalism and Mass Communication.
