
Deborah Marsh is the founder and principal consultant of MarsHRconsulting, where she provides services in organizational development, Total Rewards, executive coaching, and mediation. A certified mediator and strategic HR leader — and faculty member since 2022 — she is known for her ability to translate complex workforce strategies into practical solutions. Her 35-plus years of industry experience spans healthcare, tech, manufacturing, forest products, and the public sector.
Prior to launching her consultancy, Deborah served as People Operations Senior Director for Kaiser Northwest Permanente and as Chief People Officer at Nautilus, Inc. Her earlier career roles include Senior Principal Consultant with Andersen and the national lead for workforce compensation at KPMG’s Human Capital Services practice.
In addition to her consulting and corporate work, Deborah has taught at the University of Washington and holds an MA in Community/Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She is a WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®) and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP®), and holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.
