Eric Marquardt is Partner at Pay Governance, advising public and private companies on all aspects of executive and director compensation. His client portfolio includes Fortune 100 companies and some of the largest privately held and foreign-owned organizations in the U.S. His specialty us working with senior management and compensation committees to ensure alignment between pay programs and business strategy.

Eric joined the WorldatWork faculty in 2019, bringing deep experience in pay strategy and governance to WorldatWork learners. He focuses on the design and implementation of executive compensation programs, including performance metric development and both stock- and cash-based short- and long-term incentives.

Prior to joining Pay Governance, Eric served as Director of Executive Compensation at Merck & Co. and managed the Silicon Valley office of a global consulting firm. He is a frequent speaker at industry events hosted by NASPP, The Conference Board, and WorldatWork. He holds BA in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and an MA in Industrial Relations from Michigan State University.
