Wething’s research focuses on labor market and education policy, household economic security, and social safety net programs. Prior to joining EPI, Wething was an assistant professor of Public Policy at the Pennsylvania State University School of Public Policy. She holds a Ph.D. in public policy and management from the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington.
