Jim Zajac

Jim Zajac is a seasoned human resources executive with over three decades of experience in global compensation and benefits strategy. Since 2007, he has served as Director of Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and International Mobility at STMicroelectronics, a leading global semiconductor company. In this role, Jim oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive total rewards programs that align with the company's strategic objectives and support its diverse, international workforce.

Prior to his tenure at STMicroelectronics, Jim held key leadership positions at several major organizations. He was Vice President of Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and Payroll at GMAC Mortgage and prior he served as Director of Compensation & Benefits at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, where he played a pivotal role in developing competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.

Jim's expertise in executive compensation was further recognized during his tenure as Compensation Advisory Council Director at WorldatWork from 2017 to 2019. In this capacity, he contributed to the advancement of best practices in total rewards and provided strategic guidance on compensation trends and policies.

A WorldatWork faculty member since 2003, Jim teaches courses in base pay, business acumen, and market pricing. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®), and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP®).
