Julie Griffin was recently Senior Vice President, Total Rewards and Employee Services for Darden Restaurants. In this role, she was responsible for the strategy, design, implementation and administration of all compensation and benefits programs for Darden employees and retirees.

Julie joined Darden in 2015 after 15 years at ConAgra Foods where she was Vice President of Compensation, leading the design and analysis of executive and broad-based compensation for the company’s 33,000 employees. She also served as senior advisor with regard to all compensation matters to the business and the HR Committee of the Board of Directors and provided leadership on benefits strategy including the re-design of major health and retirement plans.

Julie holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska.  In addition, she has earned the WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional® (CCP®) designation. Julie is a board member for the National Business Group on Health and on the WorldatWork Faculty for the Executive Compensation Immersion Program.
