Kathryn Kessel, Senior Vice President of Executive & Global Compensation at MetLife, has more than 25 years of experience in global compensation and human resources. She currently teaches in WorldatWork’s Compensation Immersion Program (CIP) and Designing and Managing the Base Pay System (DBPS) course and has served as a faculty member since 2008.

Before joining MetLife, Kathryn served as Global Head of Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS at Integra LifeSciences. Her previous roles include Vice President of Global Compensation at Pfizer and Vice President at Standard & Poor’s. She also held compensation and HR leadership roles at Siemens, in the HR consulting practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and at Morton International.

Kathryn earned a BS in Accountancy from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, with a concentration in International Business and Management Strategy. She is a WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®) and a Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP®).
