Kim leads Global Total Rewards where she’s responsible for associate benefits, compensation (frontline to executive), and global well-being. She is passionate about ensuring a competitive & healthy rewards ecosystem, enabling associate well-being, and delivering innovative and personalized rewards that accelerate Walmart’s talent strategies.
Prior to Nike, Kim served as the Vice President of Global Total Rewards, People Operations, & Analytics and NIKE. There she drove systemic change across total rewards, including the introduction of choice and personalized rewards, a complete reset of the company’s pay programs, the transition to values/culture-based benefits, and the establishment of a new people analytics and insight’s function. She also served as Vice President of Total Rewards & Performance at T-Mobile. There she led all HR due diligence and integration efforts for the company’s merger with MetroPCS as well as the reset of T-Mobile’s performance management system, the introduction of an integrated talent management approach, and an evolved pay system, all which supported the company’s business and HR transformation.
Kim began her career as a compensation & financial consultant at Culpepper Associates in Atlanta, focused primarily on clients in the technology industry. She also worked as a consultant at Aon Hewitt and in Total Rewards leadership roles at Lanier Worldwide, Earthlink, and Southern Company.
Kim has earned the WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional® (CCP®) and Certified Benefits Professional® (CBP) designations. She is also a member of the WorldatWork faculty, WorldatWork Advisory Council, and the Conference Board’s Executive Compensation Counsel.
