Liz Mayo has more than 20 years of experience in compensation, with special expertise in executive and board compensation, incentive plan design, pay equity analysis, employment agreements, and litigation support. She currently serves as Principal Consultant with Zayla Partners, a premier executive compensation and governance consultancy.

Previously, she spent 16 years as Senior Director of Compensation at Brinker International, where she led the company’s executive and board compensation programs and provided oversight of annual and long-term incentive design. She has worked extensively with public, private, and not-for-profit organizations on both strategic design and compliance-related matters.

A long-time educator in the field, Liz has been a WorldatWork faculty member since 2007. In addition to consulting, she brings experience in corporate HR, with strengths in analytics and the application of financial metrics to support rewards strategies.

She holds both the WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®) and has served on multiple nonprofit compensation boards.
