Mae Lon Ding is President of compensation consulting firm Personnel Systems Associates, where for more than 30 years, she has advised for-profit and nonprofit organizations on employee pay, incentive design, and performance management strategies. Her practical, evidence-based approach to pay strategy has made her a valued educator and expert in the compensation community.

Mae Lon also serves as an expert witness in employment-related litigation, including minority shareholder disputes, disability claims, IRS matters, and compensation and overtime cases. Her legal testimony experience adds a unique dimension to her compensation knowledge, especially in high-stakes environments requiring defensible pay practices.

She is the author of Survey Sources for U.S. and International Employee Pay and Benefits and has written for publications such as Personnel, Journal of Compensation & Benefits, and Workforce Magazine. Mae Lon earned a BA in Industrial Psychology from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Southern California. A Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®), she has been a WorldatWork faculty member since 1985.
