Maureen founded Hovy Reward Solutions in 2014. The consultancy partners with companies to align reward strategy with business strategy at global, regional, and country levels. A cornerstone of the company is end-to-end rewards training from analysis to strategy and from remuneration component to global total rewards.

Maureen has over 20 years' experience in consulting and executive roles in global advisory firms and multinationals headquartered in US, Europe and Africa. She held roles as director in compensation and benefits for the Asia Pacific region at Cisco Systems and Unisys. Her consulting experience spans several industries and continents as Principal at Ernst & Young Australia and Partner and Head of Human Capital at KPMG, South Africa.

As part of her commitment to advancing the Reward profession she has developed global rewards training courses for WorldatWork and presented the GRP certification modules in the US, Asia Pacific, and Africa.

She is a past member of the WorldatWork Global Advisory Board, Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute, and received the South African Reward Association "Legend of Reward" award in 2012 for her pioneering role in building the reward profession in Southern Africa.

Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science, Honours in Education, Diploma in Datametrics, a Certificate in Labour Relations Management and the Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) accreditation.
