
Dr. Mike Wagner is Assistant Professor and Director of the Master of Arts in Human Resources program at the University of Cincinnati, teaching courses in leadership, business professionalism, business ethics, and compensation.
Prior to his academic career, Mike held senior roles in compensation and human resources, including Vice President of Compensation and Risk Management at Fifth Third Bank, Compensation Manager at American Express, Director of HR Measurement and Research at AXA Insurance, and Human Capital Consultant at Mercer. In addition to teaching, Mike consults in the areas of HR strategy, compensation design, and employee engagement.
He received his PhD in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University in New York City, where his research focus was on pay-for-performance and organizational change. He joined the WorldatWork faculty in 2022.
