Michele Girard has over 20 years of experience leading Total Rewards and Human Resources Operations functions primarily in the High-Tech industry with Fortune 500 organizations, as well as small and medium sized privately held businesses. In addition, she has been a member of WorldatWork for over twenty years, and an Affiliate volunteer leader for an award-winning affiliate to WorldatWork out of Denver, CO, Rocky Mountain Total Rewards Association.

Ms. Girard brings a unique combination of depth and expertise in both Total Rewards and Human Resources as well as mergers and acquisitions integration and operations experience to the table, as well as over a decade of experience leading a transformation and turnaround to growth for a non-profit, member-based association.

In Ms. Girard’s current role with WorldatWork, she leads multiple global teams responsible for Operations functions including Information Technology, Project Management Office, Customer and Partner Success, Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, and Legal. 

With a highly consultative, strategic approach to solving business problems and driving optimization, efficiencies, and effectiveness using evidence-based data to make pragmatic, business decisions, Ms. Girard has been leading transformational TR and HR practices that enhance organizational performance for most of her career.  Ms. Girard also volunteers as a mentor to coach and develop emerging professional women helping them realize their potential and grow their own careers. 

Ms. Girard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration & Management from University of Colorado. She has earned the following Certifications: Certified Compensational Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), and Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) from WorldatWork. She also holds the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM, and the SPHR certification from HRCI.
