
Her research focuses on sexual minority diversity issues, organizational attitudes, and pay and has been published in such journals as the Academy of Management Learning & Education, Human Resource Management, Personnel Psychology, Personnel Review, Employee Relations, and the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies. She taught graduate and undergraduate courses and has served as EMBA director, department chair, interim associate dean and as UMKC’s Faculty Ombudsperson from 2010 to 2019. Before joining the faculty, Day’s professional career included practice and consulting in the practice areas of compensation and performance management
