Roberto (Robert) Cabanelas is Vice President of Global Corporate Human Resources at Archer Daniels Midland. As the senior HR leader for ADM’s corporate groups, he advises executives on talent strategy, organizational development, and human capital initiatives. He also chairs the company’s Latino/Hispanic business resource group.

With professional experience across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America, Robert brings a deeply international perspective to HR strategy and organizational change. Earlier HR leadership roles span global organizations such as Aon, Citigroup, Motorola, and PepsiCo, and he has led several HR centers of excellence in global rewards, talent, and mobility.

Robert currently serves on the board of the Latino Policy Forum and is a member of its Alumni Society.  A WorldatWork faculty member since 1990 and a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®), his teaching integrates global insights with practical applications in Total Rewards and talent management. He earned a BA in Economics and History from the University of Michigan, an MBA from the University of Miami, and an MS in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University. He also holds a certificate in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
