Ron Miller is the Founder and Principal of Paceline Consulting, LLC, where he works part-time following his 2024 retirement from his role as Head of Global Rewards, People Operations, and HRIS at Nextiva, Inc. Joining the faculty in 1988, he brings more than 30 years of experience leading global rewards and HR merger and acquisition strategies at major corporations across diverse industries.
Ron previously was Head of Global Rewards, People Mobility, and HR M&A at DuPont, partnering with the board’s Compensation Committee to align executive rewards with global business strategy. He has also held senior Total Rewards leadership roles at both Applied Materials and Motorola, where he led compensation, benefits, and HR mergers and acquisitions for more than a decade each. His earlier experience spans healthcare, retail, and non-profit sectors.
A WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®), Ron served on the WorldatWork Board of Directors as well as the Christiana Care Health System Board Compensation Committee and is a Senior Fellow of Total Rewards with The Conference Board. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Arizona State University.
