Conroy’s research is primarily focused on compensation and reward systems, work-related technology use and employee identity dynamics with an emphasis on turnover and well-being outcomes. Her work has been published in several leading peer-reviewed management journals. Conroy is an associate editor for the Human Resource Management Review. She is also a faculty affiliate for the Social Policy Institute and an adviser for the Workforce and Organizational Research Center. Conroy spent seven years in corporate HR management roles. She earned her Ph.D. in management from the University of ArkansasShe also holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Missouri State University and an MBA with a finance emphasis from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
