Steve is a Senior Director in the Executive Compensation
practice at Willis Towers Watson's Metro New York City offices. Steve leads the firm’s
North American Insurance Industry Work and Rewards practice and has experience
in multiple industries.
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, he was the Vice President, Executive Compensation for the American Express Corporation, and held a similar role for nine years at IBM where he also supported IBM’s global law department as an HR generalist. Steve previously worked at two New York-based law firms — Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and Paul Weiss, Rifkind Wharton, and Garrison — where he focused on ERISA, employee benefits and executive compensation, and related issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and securities regulations.
Steve holds a law degree from Fordham University School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. In addition, he holds the WorldatWork Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP)® designation.
