Steve Pennacchio is Senior Vice President of Total Rewards at Pfizer and is the Secretary of the Compensation Committee of the Board. He is a member of Pfizer’s senior management team and the human resources leadership team, playing a key role in developing and driving a culture that recognizes and rewards high performance.
Prior to joining Pfizer in 2008, Steve was Vice President, Global Compensation and Benefits for Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC). Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at KPMG, Texaco and Merrill Lynch. He is also a member of the New York State Bar and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration.
Steve is the Chair of the WorldatWork Executive Rewards Advisory Council and has also served as a contributor. Steve is a sought after speaker and has participated as a subject matter expert on WorldatWork’s Executive Compensation forum at the Equilar Summit. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University at Albany (magna cum laude) and a J.D. from Fordham University.
