
Baeten earned his Ph.D. from Ghent University. He heads up the Vlerick Reward Centre, which has long-term collaborations with more than 60 organizations that participate regularly in the center’s workshops and take part in its actions-based research. The center also provides executive education programs in strategic rewards and executive remuneration and has developed a specialization in developing reward strategies together with boards and executive committees, focused on both executives as well as the broader employee population. Baeten is a member of remuneration committees as well as WorldatWork’s Editorial Advisory Council. Besides rewards, he is also active in the field of sustainability.
