Yonat Assayag is a founding Partner of ClearBridge Compensation Group and has more than 20 years of experience advising boards and senior management on executive compensation strategies. She draws on her broad advisory background to support learners navigating governance, incentive design, and complex corporate transactions.
Yonat specializes in designing annual and long-term incentive plans, with particular focus on goal setting, performance measurement, and regulatory considerations. She works with both publicly traded and privately held companies across a range of industries, advising on compensation strategies in mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, spin-offs, and SPAC transactions. She also consults on outside director pay programs and broader compensation governance issues.
Before co-founding ClearBridge, Yonat was a Principal in Mercer’s Human Capital group. A WorldatWork faculty member since 2024, she is also a guest lecturer for The Wharton School’s MBA and Women on Boards programs. She holds a BS in Business Administration from Syracuse University and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
