Conference speakers are sourced and selected by WorldatWork to be partners in delivering exceptional learning experiences to those who attend our in-person and digital events. Following general guidelines convened in the event/content strategy, they deliver engaging sessions with an emphasis on sharing knowledge and practical solutions, connecting audience members and supporting a professional growth path of WorldatWork members.
Conference Speaker
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an attendee experience using engaging and dynamic approaches with no selling or lead generation in the session.
- Demonstrate deep subject knowledge, including key concepts, current and relevant applications, tools and techniques.
- Share diverse perspectives through personal and professional experience that educates and enlightens.
- Manage time allocation and expectations of participants during the session.
- Engage participants in person or digitally (via Zoom or other digital platform).
- Interact and network with attendees beyond your session delivery.
Qualifications (Selection Criteria)
- Knowledgeable practitioner, consultant or service partner in identified field.
- Prior impactful speaking experience in the relevant topic area.
- Ability to express concepts clearly, accurately and in a manner that promotes active learning.
- Pre-screening video may be required to assess delivery style, topic knowledge and depth of subject matter experience.
Training/Support
- Technical overview for any digital platform required by WorldatWork for the session, including presentation, chat, breakouts and whiteboard functions.
- WorldatWork will provide a branded PowerPoint template, which is required for session use, as well as presenter preparation guidelines and requirements overview.

- This role may require domestic or international travel.
- Attend presenter training/preparation meeting.
- Adhere to all submission deadlines for materials.
