Faculty Members teach WorldatWork certification courses and educational offerings in a public classroom setting and/or online. They support WorldatWork’s mission by providing to practitioners — via established course materials — training and education on effectively designing and implementing strategies and practices in total rewards, including compensation, benefits, well-being and other aspects of human capital management. This role may require domestic or international travel.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver course materials using engaging and dynamic approaches.
- Demonstrate deep subject knowledge, including key concepts, current and relevant applications, tools and techniques.
- Use professional and personal experience to supplement written course materials.
- Manage classroom, including time allocation and expectations of participants.
- Engage participants in person or virtually (via Zoom).
Qualifications (Selection Criteria)
- Prior public speaking/presentation experience or HR training experience required.
- Recent CCP or GRP Certification preferred. (If you have not been certified in the prior five years, you must take the course and exam that you will be teaching.)
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in the domain of the course being taught (compensation, rewards, human resources, well-being).
- Senior-level practitioner accountable for compensation, rewards, human resources or well-being management.
- Professional experience in multiple industries is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Pre-screening video will assess delivery style, topic knowledge, and depth of subject matter experience. On the given topic, please do one of the following:
• Record a 10-minute Zoom video in which you teach a module of the course.
• Freestyle for 10-minutes on a Zoom video. Explain why this topic is critical to HR professionals and what the key aspects are that one needs to understand.
Time Commitment
- Engaged faculty members are relied on to accept a minimum of three teaching assignments annually, which may vary from 1/2 day to several day commitments.
Training & Support
- Course materials are provided by WorldatWork.
- Feedback/coaching is provided by a WorldatWork faculty co-presenter.
- Consultation is available with a WorldatWork content specialist.
- Technical training on Zoom presentations, chats, breakouts and whiteboard functions is provided.
