Beyond Performance: How "Impact" Drives Compensation Resource Allocation
Virtual (Live) April 28, 2026 01:00 PM Eastern

Traditional performance ratings tell only part of the story. They help explain how work gets done, but they often fall short when organizations need to make nuanced equity allocation decisions. This session explores how introducing impact as a distinct lens can sharpen compensation outcomes and bring greater clarity, fairness, and confidence to equity decisions.

Participants will examine how performance, potential, and impact differ, where they overlap, and why impact deserves its own place in the conversation. By separating how someone performs from the value their work creates for the organization, leaders can move beyond the limitations of the 9 Box and toward more intentional, business aligned equity decisions. Through practical examples and discussion, this session connects performance management directly to smarter, more defensible compensation strategy.

Webinar participants will qualify to receive the following WorldatWork, HRCI and SHRM recertification credits.
