Pay Perception: The Missing Link in Your Compensation Strategy
Virtual (Live) November 18, 2025 02:00 PM Eastern

Your pay strategy might be market-competitive but do your employees feel they’re being paid fairly?

In this eye-opening session, we’ll explore the disconnect that can exist between how organizations design pay and how employees experience it. While employees rely on market data to build competitive compensation programs, employees often assess their pay through a personal lens shaped by expectations, experiences and comparisons. The question is: are those perspectives aligned? And are employers and employees even comparing apples to apples—like base salary and incentive payouts—or are they measuring value in completely different ways?

Join compensation and data experts as we compare company-submitted salary data from market surveys with employee-reported perceptions of pay fairness and satisfaction. Discover where the biggest perception gaps lie and what to do about them.

You'll walk away with fresh insights and proven strategies to elevate how employees feel about their compensation, without necessarily increasing spend. Because when perception and reality align, everybody wins.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understand how employee perception of pay often diverges from market benchmarking and why it matters.
  • Learn how to make the business case to leadership for changes that truly influence how employees value their pay.
  • Equip managers with tools to shape pay perception beyond raising salaries.
  • Explore high-impact, cost-effective strategies to realign compensation design and communication.
