Aged Salary = Survey Salary x (1 + (Market Movement Percentage x Number of Months / 12)) Example: If the original survey salary is $70,000 and the annual market movement is 3% (0.03) over a period of 6 months, the calculation would be: Aged Salary = $70,000 x (1 + (0.03 x 6 / 12)) Aged Salary = $70,000 x (1 + 0.015) Aged Salary = $70,000 x 1.015 = $71,050 This means the salary is aged to $71,050 to reflect the market changes over the 6-month period.
