How Workforce Friction Affects Job Productivity
In a survey of more than 6,000 workers, people managers and executives from six countries, 88% of the respondents reported there was friction in their environment, such as ;Ineffective communication (41%); ;Overly complicated processes (25%); ;Lack of resources (23%); “Technology disruption and a fluid operating environment are creating friction across organizations, leading to frustrated employees and wasted time and resources,” Steve Holdridge, Dayforce’s president and chief operating officer, said in a statement about the findings.

Under that law, “career development” is now defined as a “change to an employee’s terms of compensation, benefits, full-time or part-time status, duties, or access in order to further advancement to update the employee’s job title or compensate the employee to reflect work performed or contributions already made by the employee.”
