After more than 20 years in HR and Total Rewards practice, Francisco Neto of São Paulo, Brazil, knew he wanted to take his expertise further. But the HR education and networking opportunities in his country weren’t advanced enough to enable his practice to serve other parts of Latin America, Canada and EMEA countries.

Expanding Education and Excellence Worldwide

“I needed to make a serious career investment,” Francisco says. As an experienced Total Rewards professional serving multinational and multicultural companies, Francisco had wanted to become a WorldatWork member for some time because of its global positioning and perspective.

So, when WorldatWork partnered with Brazil’s HR educational provider FORHMA, he saw his opportunity to benefit from all of WorldatWork’s solutions virtually.

“I became a member right away,” he remembers. “I really wanted to improve my skills in global compensation and benefits, because my favorite part of the job is helping to leverage business growth while supporting professionals to succeed in their careers.”

Francisco’s aspirations as a Total Rewards professional have always been to gain the highest-level training and certification, stay on top of Total Rewards trends, understand cultural differences, expand his professional network, and secure a competitive advantage in his profession and for his organization. “WorldatWork is, at last, giving me every tool I need to reach my goals.”

One of the first member benefits Francisco tapped was WorldatWork’s exclusive, globally respected courses and certifications. “When I learned about the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®) certifications years ago, I knew I wanted to earn them both, and now I have the chance,” he says. Francisco is on target to achieve certification later this year.

“As I’m pursuing certification, I’m already seeing the ways membership has reinforced my professional image and given me a greater reputation, along with higher performance.”
