
Bernardo Buraglia is currently based in Miami working for Millicom. He is accountable for leading the Global HR operations and the Global Reward practice including Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, Compliance, Immigration, Expat assignments, HR Vendor Management, etc. One of the key responsibilities is to work directly with the Board's compensation Committee in designing, evaluating and approving compensation plans, policies and programs of the Company.
The other main area of focus is to create the appropriate alignment with the diverse business needs and organizational segments while providing efficient, effective and compliant HR services.
Prior to joining Millicom, Bernardo worked with, SABMiller, AMGEN and Dow Chemical in a variety of roles. Buraglia also serves as a WorldatWork faculty member.
His educational background includes an industrial engineer degree, an MBA with concentration in Finance from McGill University, a Black Belt Six Sigma certification and an EMBA from the University of Miami. Bernardo also holds the WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional® (CCP®) designation.
