
Gary Starzmann is Founder and President of HumInt, LLC, a Total Rewards consulting firm based in Austin, Texas. He currently serves as Faculty Dean for WorldatWork, where he has been a faculty member since 2003 and teaches several courses on compensation strategy and Total Rewards.
Gary is an internationally recognized speaker and published author on executive and employee compensation, advising organizations on aligning compensation with strategic business goals while contributing to the broader HR and Total Rewards community through teaching, writing, and thought leadership.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in compensation and human capital strategy, holding multiple senior leadership roles in Total Rewards and serving as a Board-level compensation advisor across a range of industries. Earlier in his career, Gary served as an officer in the US Army, and earned a BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School
