Surveyed respondents said their organizations have only a surface-level understanding of their skills, resulting in roles that fail to fully reflect what they do best: ;36% said their organization shows little to no recognition of their skills (9% no recognition, 27% limited awareness with little action).; ;29% said their skills are only somewhat aligned with their day-to-day work.; ;Just 24% said their role closely matches what they do best.; When employees feel their roles fail to tap into their full capabilities, the report suggests it can create a gap between what they can contribute and what their jobs actually require.

Rising Healthcare Costs Forcing Employers to Rewrite Their Game Plan
That figure for 2026, which considers the financial impact if employers took no action to lower their costs, is in line with other industry prognostications, including: ;Business Group on Health (9%); ;Mercer (9%); WTW survey respondents identified three primary cost drivers for the year ahead: ;Pharmaceuticals , primarily specialty drugs and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) medications;; ;High-cost claimants; and,; ;Chronic conditions, especially musculoskeletal disorders and cancers.; As a result of rising costs, claimants and conditions, 1 in 3 surveyed leaders anticipate making “significant changes” to their healthcare benefit programs within the next three years.
