Mary Lynn Fayoumi, CAE, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is the President and CEO of HR Source, a Chicago-based employers’ association with over 1,200 member organizations. She is a highly respected writer, presenter and advisor, as well as an accepted authority on a variety of workplace and HR issues including engagement, culture and employment trends.
She currently serves as the Lead Director of the WorldatWork Board and is Past Chair of the Board of Directors for both the Association Forum of Chicagoland and the Employer Associations of America. Mary Lynn was honored by Crain’s Chicago Business as a Notable Leader in HR in 2020 and was named the 2021 Woman of Influence by the Association Forum.
Mary Lynn is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Industrial Relations/Human Resources. She also holds an MBA with honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Scott Cawood, CEO of WorldatWork since 2015, has spent his entire career working to answer a very specific question: How can we make work―and workplaces―better? Cawood’s passion for the workplace and how it functions (or not) inspired him to earn degrees in organizational communication, labor and industrial relations, education, and a doctorate degree in organization- and work-based learning. Unsurprisingly, he’s forged these disciplines into a singular passion for organizations dedicated to great work. Prior to joining WorldatWork, he was the global leader for organizational effectiveness at W.L. Gore & Associates Inc., a global manufacturer with more than 10,000 employees. At Gore, he led the organizational efforts to achieve an enterprise strategy to maximize associate engagement and align culture with critical business priorities. He previously served as president of Synygy, a global compensation and sales software company, as well as in senior leadership positions at Revlon and the Great Place to Work Institute, which selects Fortune magazine's 100 Best Places to Work.
Jeff Chambers is the Managing Director and General Counsel of Campbell and James Executive Search, a HireNetworks company. He was previously Executive Director of human resources for Covance and Chiltern International. He also served as General Counsel for the Center for Leadership Studies and Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Legal Affairs, for PRA Health Sciences. Before joining PRA, Chambers spent eight years as Vice President, Human Resources for SAS, a software company that was named one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" for each of those years. Prior to this role, he worked as Senior Corporate Counsel for SAS and Corporate Counsel at MassMutual Life Insurance Company. He is also the Secretary/Treasurer of the WorldatWork Association Board of Directors.
With over 30 years of legal and HR experience, Chambers is a pragmatic, solution-oriented executive with strong strategic and tactical skills in human resources and law. He has a proven ability to develop and execute integrated talent management strategies aligned with business objectives in executive search, corporate staffing and FSP offerings.
Chambers earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Bucknell University and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law.
M. Alan Gardner is the Chief People Officer at Frontier Communications. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Verizon Communications, where he led centers of expertise encompassing the overall employee experience in support of 175,000 employees around the globe.
Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Verizon Wireless, which at the time was an $87 billion U.S.-based joint venture between Verizon Communications and Vodafone, with 85,000 employees.
In addition to other executive roles of increasing responsibility at Verizon, Alan was the Director of Compensation at GTE Corporation. He began his career at American Express, UCCEL Corporation, and General Dynamics.
Courtney is a culturally sensitive leader with two decades of experience leading complex change management initiatives that define and shift company culture and empower diverse and distributed workforces.
Having started her career in consulting at Towers Perrin, she has held roles of increased global responsibility in Total Rewards and Human Resources at Avon, AXA, SAIC and Twitter. In 2023, she founded Vanguard HR Strategy Group which provides Total Rewards consulting and fractional Total Rewards leadership for privately held and publicly traded companies.
Courtney brings a global perspective to her work having lived in France as an expat while working at AXA and working in multiple countries throughout Europe, Asia Pacific and South America in various roles. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics and is a member of Forbes HR Council.
Nathalie is the Chief People Officer at Shift Technology, a France-based Insurtech company that delivers AI decisioning solutions for the global insurance industry, where she is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and implementation of global human resources strategies and programs.
Nathalie is a seasoned global HR leader with more than 30 years of experience with primarily high-growth software companies. She has experience with a wide range of corporate structures—large publicly traded, and smaller privately held companies, such as Selligent, SAP, Hybris, Corel and Cognos. Prior to her work in the software industry, Nathalie worked as a consultant in both the pension and total rewards practices at Watson Wyatt Worldwide.
Nathalie brings a broad international perspective having lived and worked in five different countries over the course of her career. She received a bachelor of science in mathematics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Prior to her Board service, she was a member of the faculty and of the Global Advisory Board and a presenter at numerous WorldatWork events. She has been a member of WorldatWork since 1991.
Dr. Stacey Petrey is a results-driven, global executive and board member with more than two decades of experience in driving organizational change from initial conceptualization to implementation.
She is a Principal at PriceWaterhouseCoopers specializing in delivering deal value. Previously, she was the Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Strategic Programs for Bausch Health. Prior to joining Bausch Health, Dr. Petrey founded a human capital consulting firm and was the human capital practice leader for Solenture. She has also held human resource, business and finance roles at Mylan, Perrigo, Raytheon, Fidelity Investments, Timberland, PerkinElmer, Credit Suisse First Boston and Marriott International.
Dr. Petrey is credited with the successful design and execution of numerous global programs such as: global alliance management for 130+ strategic relationships representing $3B+ in revenue; business integration and transition service agreements (TSA) for more than 50 completed transactions; delivering 100 percent improvement in net income of a business P&L legal entity rationalization of 150+ global entities; EU medical device regulation; as well as blueprinting and launching several SAP modules for governing global master data.
Her work and expertise are well documented through articles and speaking engagements with the Conference Board, Harvard Business School Blog, Talent Economy, Chief Learning Officer and Net Assets. Deloitte Consulting has recognized Stacey in their ranks of Women to Watch in Healthcare.
Dedicated to international education, Stacey has taught finance courses for Suffolk University in Dakar, Senegal. Her experience as an educator informed her doctoral research in developing a proprietary rubric for assessing the relationship between characteristics of executive officers and total shareholder return. While rearing two active sons and their Havanese puppy, Stacey serves her community through volunteer work in public education.
