Mary Lynn Fayoumi, CAE, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is the President and CEO of HR Source, a Chicago-based employers’ association with over 1,200 member organizations. She is a highly respected writer, presenter and advisor, as well as an accepted authority on a variety of workplace and HR issues including engagement, culture and employment trends.
She currently serves as the Lead Director of the WorldatWork Board and is Past Chair of the Board of Directors for both the Association Forum of Chicagoland and the Employer Associations of America. Mary Lynn was honored by Crain’s Chicago Business as a Notable Leader in HR in 2020 and was named the 2021 Woman of Influence by the Association Forum.
Mary Lynn is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Industrial Relations/Human Resources. She also holds an MBA with honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Scott Cawood brings more than two decades of leadership experience at the intersection of organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and workplace transformation. As CEO of WorldatWork since 2015, Scott has led the organization through a period of strategic growth and innovation, championing the mission to make work, and workplaces, better for all.
Prior to joining WorldatWork, Scott served as Global Leader for Organizational Effectiveness at W.L. Gore & Associates, where he led enterprise-wide efforts to align culture with business strategy and drive associate engagement across a 10,000-person workforce. His earlier roles include President of Synygy, a global compensation and sales software company, and senior leadership positions at Revlon and the Great Place to Work Institute, where he contributed to the development of Fortune magazine’s 100 Best Places to Work list.
A dynamic speaker and bestselling author, Scott’s most recent book, The New Work Exchange: Embracing the Future by Putting Employees First, was published in 2023 and quickly became an Amazon bestseller. He joined the WorldatWork faculty in 2023 and teaches with a passion for helping organizations unlock the full potential of their people.
Scott holds an EdD in Organization and Work-Based Learning from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School and Graduate School of Education), an MS in Learning Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University, and a BA in Organizational Communication from Michigan State University. He holds multiple WorldatWork certifications, including Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®), Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP®) and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP®).
Jeff Chambers is the Managing Director and General Counsel of Campbell and James Executive Search, a HireNetworks company. He was previously Executive Director of human resources for Covance and Chiltern International. He also served as General Counsel for the Center for Leadership Studies and Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Legal Affairs, for PRA Health Sciences. Before joining PRA, Chambers spent eight years as Vice President, Human Resources for SAS, a software company that was named one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" for each of those years. Prior to this role, he worked as Senior Corporate Counsel for SAS and Corporate Counsel at MassMutual Life Insurance Company. He is also the Secretary/Treasurer of the WorldatWork Association Board of Directors.
With over 30 years of legal and HR experience, Chambers is a pragmatic, solution-oriented executive with strong strategic and tactical skills in human resources and law. He has a proven ability to develop and execute integrated talent management strategies aligned with business objectives in executive search, corporate staffing and FSP offerings.
Chambers earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Bucknell University and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law.
M. Alan Gardner is the Chief People Officer at Frontier Communications. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Verizon Communications, where he led centers of expertise encompassing the overall employee experience in support of 175,000 employees around the globe.
Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Verizon Wireless, which at the time was an $87 billion U.S.-based joint venture between Verizon Communications and Vodafone, with 85,000 employees.
In addition to other executive roles of increasing responsibility at Verizon, Alan was the Director of Compensation at GTE Corporation. He began his career at American Express, UCCEL Corporation, and General Dynamics.
Courtney is a culturally sensitive leader with two decades of experience leading complex change management initiatives that define and shift company culture and empower diverse and distributed workforces.
Having started her career in consulting at Towers Perrin, she has held roles of increased global responsibility in Total Rewards and Human Resources at Avon, AXA, SAIC and Twitter. In 2023, she founded Vanguard HR Strategy Group which provides Total Rewards consulting and fractional Total Rewards leadership for privately held and publicly traded companies.
Courtney brings a global perspective to her work having lived in France as an expat while working at AXA and working in multiple countries throughout Europe, Asia Pacific and South America in various roles. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics and is a member of Forbes HR Council.
Dr. Stacey Petrey is a results-driven global executive and board member with more than 25+ years of experience in driving value creation in global organizations. She is a Partner at Blue Matter Consulting, leading the People & Organization Practice. Previously, she was a Partner in PwC’s Deals practice focused on integrations, separations, value creation and change management - Stacey has also held business, finance and HR roles at Bausch Health, Mylan (Viatris), Perrigo, Fidelity Investments, PerkinElmer, and Credit Suisse First Boston

M&A Expertise: As a partner in PwC’s Deals practice, and as an executive in pharma/life science companies leading integrations/divestitures, extensive experience in due diligence, negotiation, and business integration/carve outs, having worked on more than 75 completed transactions including two corporate inversions ($8.6B Elan/Perrigo and $5.3 Mylan/Abbott EPD)
International Partnerships: Leader of global alliance management across multiple operating companies/franchises, actively managed more than 130 strategic relationship for pre-commercial and commercialized assets, including Hub services with over $3B in commercial revenue

Kim is an accomplished global HR executive and thought leader in Total Rewards, with over two decades of experience driving transformation across some of the world’s most recognizable brands. July 1, 2025, she joined General Motors as Vice President of Total Rewards and Associate Relations, where she leads global strategies in compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
Prior to GM, Kim held senior leadership roles leading Total Rewards at Walmart, NIKE, and T-Mobile. At each company, she drove systemic changes across compensation and benefits, pioneered personalized and choice-based rewards, built values-aligned benefits platforms, and led HR integration through major corporate mergers and transformations. She brings a unique blend of business acumen, data-driven insight, and a deep commitment to people-centric leadership.
Kim began her career as a compensation & financial consultant at Culpepper Associates in Atlanta, focused primarily on clients in the technology industry. She also worked as a consultant at Aon Hewitt and in Total Rewards leadership roles at Lanier Worldwide, Earthlink, and Southern Company.
Kim holds a BA and MA from Emory University, with academic work centered on culture, status, power, and justice. She also shares her expertise through service as a WorldatWork Board Member, WorldatWork Faculty, and in her role on the Conference Board Executive Compensation Council. She obtained her Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®) and the Certified Benefits Professional (CBP®) from WorldatWork.
