No. You do not have to be a WorldatWork member to pursue certification. However, members receive substantial discounts on courses, exams, and conferences, as well as exclusive access to research, publications, and our online member networking platform.
Most certifications offer prep courses that teach the content needed to pass the associated exam. Courses are available for the CCP, GRP, and CBP. To earn these certifications, you must pass multiple exams focused on specific areas of knowledge.
The CECP, CSCP, and CSRP test knowledge you would be expected to acquire through on-the-job experience and do not include prep courses. Practice exams are available for all certifications as a low-cost, low-risk way to prepare. You should also review the body of knowledge prior to taking your exam. Each of these certification exams requires passing a single comprehensive exam: the CECP has 100 questions, the CSCP has 120 questions, and the CSRP has 90 questions. All three exams have a three hour time limit.
No. While many people find it helpful to learn from experienced instructors and in-depth course materials, you may take the certification exam without completing the associated prep course.
Yes. You may take courses and their related exams in any order you wish.
Certification exams are administered by PSI, WorldatWork’s exam delivery partner, and can be taken online at any time in the On-Demand (Record and Review) format. You can access your exam through yourWorldatWork profile. In-person testing at a PSI testing center is also available upon request.
For most WorldatWork certification exams, the minimum passing score is 75%. That includes the CSCP, which also requires a 75% passing score. The CECP and CSRP use a scaled scoring system ranging from 120 to 200, where a score of 200 is required to pass. For specific scoring details on any exam, refer to the individual certification page on the WorldatWork website or contact the Customer Experience Team.
Visit your WorldatWork profile, click the My WorldatWork tab, and scroll down to the My Certifications section.
Learners who achieve WorldatWork credentials receive a digital badge they can share on their professional networking profile, email signature, or company profile page. WorldatWork partners with Credly to distribute and track badge attainment. You will need to create a Credly account to access your WorldatWork badges and certificates.
Yes. A printable copy of your certificate is available within your Credly account. Visit Credly’s help page for instructions.
Yes. Credits earned for one certification can be applied to another certification that requires passage of the same exam. Credits you earn from pursuing a second certification can also be applied toward recertifying your first.
